Girls’ Life 1

Patsy Walker is a very important character, and I am missing a lot of her early stuff. Thankfully the golden age Patsy works are retconned to be fictional in-universe works of the 616 Patsy. For lack of a better tag I will tag it simply as 616, but know she doesn’t really appear until the 60s.

Mr. Walker comes home and is greeted by the sound of loud music, and is told it is Patsy and her friends, who are there to study. He complains he has had a long day and wants his wife to get rid of them. She refuses, saying he had gotten them into this mess that morning when Patsy had asked if she could have friends over that morning and he had overridden his wife’s refusal. She tells him, he must get rid of them if he truly wishes it.

He goes to his daughter’s room and finds himself greeted enthusiastically, and given much thanks for him allowing them to come over. Unable to kick them out after that he comes up with a new idea. The next day he offers to help them with their studies, having prepared a room for it. Cunningly Buzz Baxter asks him about a Dr. Himmelhock, causing the man to search for hours until he is told by his wife that he is the dentist who just opened shop in town.
